~General Information About Accidents and Injuries~
Even a 'minor auto accident' can have 'major effects' on your health for years to come. It is best to seek help soon. But there is hope for even the oldest of injuries with skilled body work.
The evaluations done by emergency room doctors are only meant to ensure you don't suffer from any serious, immediate injuries like broken bones, abrasions, cuts, or concussions. They are not looking for muscle tissue problems or misaligned bodies and bones.
The whiplash injury to the neck, or cervical sprain/strain, is by far the most common injury that results from a car accident. Sprains and strains are referred to as soft tissue injuries (soft tissue includes muscles, tendons, and ligaments) and occur when the head is abruptly jerked back and forth, muscles and ligaments can be injured.
Unfortunately, the standard approach to these injuries often amounts to nothing more than suppressing the symptoms with pain-killers and potentially dangerous anti-inflammatory drugs!(NSAIDS), This leaves the muscles and tissue to hopefully heal on their own.
Ortho-bionomy along with some other modalities are shown to help to restore muscular strength, flexibility, and normal function by correcting or "aligning" the scar tissue that is caused by accidents
This can be so crucial for full muscular recovery.
Muscles tend not to recover fully when given only "time"
in which to heal.
